I'm Natalia Carstens, a freelance photographer and art historian based in Berlin – specializing in art, architecture, and exhibition documentation. I work with galleries, museums, art fairs, artists, and cultural institutions in Berlin and beyond.
Art and architecture have fascinated me for as long as I can remember – especially the interplay between artwork and space. After many years working in art fair management, I now work behind the camera: photographing exhibitions, reproductions, events, and spaces. My aim is always to make the unique character of artistic presentations visible.
In addition to my commissioned work, I regularly create personal architectural photography projects in which I explore space, its impact, and how it is perceived.
