I’m a hybrid writer and multimedia storyteller from The Netherlands living in Berlin. I’m the unexpected product of a master’s degree in computer science and an MFA in creative writing and anything at the intersection of language and tech has a high probability of piquing my interest.
My latest work is a community-driven mixed media poetry installation about Ghanaian-Dutch colonial history, created in collaboration with the Ars Electronica museum in Linz, Austria. I’m also currently a script writer on the new German-French children’s animation series Rabbit Academy, produced for KiKa, SWR, NDR, and HR. Next to that, I have published short stories, articles, and code-poetry in Volume Poetry, AGNI magazine, Writer’s Digest and other magazines in the US and the Netherlands. I’ve taught creative writing at Boston University and The University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
